How did it start?

Terence Lewis (born 10 April 1975) is a multi award-winning choreographer, celebrity TV judge, internationally acclaimed teacher, entrepreneur and motivational key speaker from India. He is a 4 time Guinness Book of Records winner and holds an Honorary Doctorate in Dance. He is popularly recognised as a choreographer and judge in reality dance series like Dance India Dance, Nach Baliye, So You Think You Can Dance,Chak Dhoom Dhoom, Dance Dance, Nach Le Ve and Dance Champions. He is Founder and Artistic Director of the Terence Lewis Contemporary Dance Company, India’s Number One Dance Company and Founder of the Terence Lewis Professional Training Institute.

The Terence Lewis Professional Training Institute is one of India's leading dance organisations. It was founded in 1998 as the Terence Lewis Academy of Dance and Fitness. By the mid-2000s, it was firmly established as the most sought after dance institute in the country and has consistently been recognized as a pioneer in the field of dance knowledge since it’s inception. TLPTI celebrated its 22nd anniversary ONLINE on 1 May, 2020 by conducting a 24 hour dance relay ADDA (All Day Dance Access) LIVE on Facebook and Instagram.
